Fishing Program
The resort offers rental of several different watercraft options. You have a choice of: super pangas (hold 3 people), super cruisers (hold up to 4 people), Topaz (hold up to 4 people) , and the 31 foot fully air conditioned El Gefe (holds 6 people). Pangas come with a captain for each boat. Super cruisers, Topaz and El Gefe each come with a captain and deck hand. Personal fishing guides are available and can be arranged through the lodge.

Accomodations
Located in the heart of Los Barriles, Hotel Palmas de Cortez offers air conditioned oceanfront rooms, oceanfront/poolside rooms, palapa roofed cabañas, garden rooms, and two bedroom/2 bathroom luxurious condominiums. Newly renovated, our hotel rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable. Rooms can sleep from one to four people per room and come equipped with telephones, mini-fridge, and satellite TV.
The new Luxury Tower offers one bedroom luxury suites and two bedroom luxury suites as well as a 3 bedroom penthouse on the third floor with a large roof top deck that can be used for large events or gatherings. Enjoy breakfast offered daily at Tico’s restaurant, lunch & dinner at the Bay View restaurant with a beautiful view of the Sea of Cortez or a pizza & light fare served up at our poolside snack bar.
There are restaurants, bars, shopping, grocery store, ATV rentals and more right outside the resort.

Getting There
Getting there is simple. Hop on a flight to San Jose del Cabo (SJD) which is the closest public airport. Once you arrive you can take a taxi to the lodge. It’s best to pre-arrange your taxi pick up at least 48 hours before arrival. The other option is to rent a car at the airport and drive the 1 hour + to the lodge. To get to the lodge via the highway, head north on Hwy 1 towards La Paz until arriving in Los Barriles.

Prices are based on double occupancy and guide/captain & super panga per two fishermen. Includes room tax, bed tax, and boat tax.
